Cool Winter challenge

Today's December 1st and it's the last month of the year. Christmas is near and that means, getting and giving presents, nice food, spending time with your loved ones,'s the time of being merry and bright, warm sweaters, scarfs and gloves, roasted chestnuts, Christmas trees, candlelights,  coziness  and  warmth.

But this time of year can also be cold with snow, iceskating, frozen windows, rainy days, long nights and short days.

and this inspired us to do something different this time....
We decided to use cool colours for our creations. Isn't that " cool"?

Afbeeldingsresultaat voor color wheel

To help you a little bit I have added a colourwheel so you can check if your colours are either cold or warm.

The DT is quite busy too with preparing for Christmas, so come back regulary, because will we add some new creations during the next few days.

But Cicci made this wonderful example with Hannah Lynn's

Saskia's using Hannah Lynn's
Holiday Shopping, Holiday Baking, Partridge in a Pear Tree and Santa's Helper

Mranda using Reindeer girl by Hannah Lynn

I have some trouble adding a linkytool for you to post your creations, so this month we will have a album on FB that you can use to show your creations. No worries if you don't have a facebookaccount. In that case post a linky to your blog in the comments of this post.

looking forward to see your creations

November challenge - Giving Thanks

Hi everyone,

Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States. It was originally celebrated as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. Several other places around the world have similar celebrations. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated in a secularmanner as well.

But if you don't celebrate thanksgiving, there is always something to be grateful for, because gratitude can turn common days into Thanksgiving, can turn routine jobs into joy and change ordinary things into blessings (quote by WA Ward)

So this month your creation is about Thanksgiving, giving thanks or saying thank you.

Our team has made some fabulous  creations to inspire you:

Miranda using Owls Hallow's eve by Hannah Lynn

We look forward seeing your creations

(linky is not working at the moment...please post a link to your creation in the comments and check in later to ee if it' already there.
sorry for the inconvience)
